Three approaches to straightforward VCA-style control
What it does
160 One offers 160 VU, 160A and Hybrid operating modes in one streamlined compressor. Threshold and Ratio control how much the signal is compressed, while OverEasy provides a way to change the transition into compression.
In practice
Its direct controls make it useful for quickly testing different compression responses on bass, drums and other sources. Switch modes while listening in context, then use Auto Gain if you want help balancing output level. The modes are One-series interpretations rather than claims of exact hardware capture.
