Optical-style dynamics, straightforward control
What it does
2A One is designed for compression that is easy to set by ear. Peak Reduction determines how strongly the signal is controlled, while Compress and Limit provide two approaches to dynamics. The mix control lets you retain some of the untreated signal alongside the compressed result.
In practice
Try it when a vocal, bass or other sustained source needs more consistent dynamics without building a complicated processing chain. Auto Gain can help you evaluate compression without constantly adjusting output level. This is a One-series design inspired by familiar optical-compressor workflows, not a measured hardware replica.
