Fast FET-inspired compression with flexible blending
What it does
76 One brings the familiar controls of an 1176-style compressor into a focused interface. Choose between 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, 20:1 and ALL modes, then set attack and release to shape how the processor responds to transients and sustained material.
In practice
Use it on drums, vocals, room microphones or other sources where the relationship between transient impact and sustain matters. The wet/dry mix enables parallel compression without extra routing, and Auto Gain provides convenient level compensation. This is a character-inspired One-series processor, not a hardware-measured Special model.
