What it does
Brickwall One is a stereo sample-peak limiter with Input, Ceiling, Release and Lookahead controls. Gain-reduction and output-peak readouts help you see how hard the limiter is working.
In practice
Use it when you need to contain peaks or set an output ceiling on a bus or finished mix. Increase Input deliberately, monitor the amount of limiting and compare the sound at matched loudness. It is described as sample-peak limiting; it is not advertised as a true-peak limiter.
