What it does
Plate One is an algorithmic plate-style reverb with Decay, Pre-delay, Density, Diffusion and Damping. Wet high-pass and low-pass filters allow the effect to be shaped independently of the dry signal.
In practice
Use it when a vocal, snare or guitar needs a distinct reverb tail rather than the impression of a large room. Start with the decay and pre-delay, then adjust diffusion and filtering until the reverb sits behind the source.
